With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen MacDonald of Alexandria, Ontario, who passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald William MacDonald and Isobel MacKay; and her siblings, Joseph, Sandy (Elaine), Lee (late Nuala), Annie Laurie and Mary O'Halloran (Allan).
She is survived by: her siblings, Ian, Dale (Marlene), Gerard (Debbie), Stuart (Louise) and Jenny (Wilf). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the OSPCA (because of Karen's lifelong love of animals) would be appreciated by the family.
