He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thompson and Pearl Thompson; and his siblings, Kay Quipp (late Lawrence), Barbara Pidgeon (late Peter) and James Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ann Thompson; his daughters, Gloria and Lori (Roch Cholette); and his sisters, Isabelle Murphy (late Doug) and Ruth McKay (late Jack). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
