Godfrey O'Connor Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2020, Godfrey O'Connor of Alexandria, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Clement (Angela), Maurice (Inez), Jerome (Bernice), Laurence (Jeannine), Gilbert, Barbara Aubin (Romeo), Ann MacDonald (John) and Rosa Valade (Andy Guay); and his parents, Charles O'Connor and Josephine O'Connor.

He is survived by: his wife Simone O'Connor; his children, Brenda MacDonald (Robert) of Alexandria, Bonnie Lajoie (Gary) of New Brunswick, Glenn O'Connor (Michelle) of Bainsville and David O'Connor of Glen Roy; his grandchildren, Roddy, Dana, Mary-Ellen MacDonald, Kora, Kristy, Melissa Lajoie, Ryan, Blake and Hailey O'Connor; and his sisters, Rita Fellows (John) of Trenton, Theresa Stoney (Russell), Alice Bailey (Charlie) of Montreal, Dorothy Hughes (Allan) and Esther McDermid (Malcolm) of Perth.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, a private family Memorial Mass will be held in St. Raphael's Catholic Church.

As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
