She was predeceased by: her spouse Melvin Lafave; her parents, Michael J. Stanley and Leonise St-Louis; and her siblings, Rita, Cecile, Irvine and Rodney.
She is survived by: her children, Wendell (Sheila), Brent (Lynn), Lorelei (Bruce), Marietta (Kevin), Melinda, Ellery (Jennifer) and Alana (Marc). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
