He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Claudette Massia; his children, Helen Sova (Douglas) of Alexandria, Jacqueline Bourdon (Jacques) of Cornwall, Annette MacLeod (Kenny) of Dunvegan and Roch Massia (Irene) of Alexandria; his parents, Charles Massia and Evelyn Massia; and his siblings, Alex-John (late Florence), Donat (Stella), Leopold, Georgette Duperron (late Raymond), Irene Lalonde (late Ernest), Bernard (late Barbara), Annette Tyo (late Pat) and Maurice (Cecile). He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
