He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert (Cecile) and Richard; and his parents, Lucien Joanette and Pearl Joanette. He is survived by: his wife Fernande Joanette; his daughters, Nathalie Joanette and Isabelle Joanette (Craig Wright); his grandchildren, Alexander, Brandon Urquhart, Molly, Abigail and Joshua Wright; and his siblings, Yves (Blanche), Pauline (Marcel), Murielle (André), Viviane (Adrien), Raymond (Monique), Denis (late Pamela), Nicole (Brent), Luc (Joanne) and Carole (Gaetan). He is also survived by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
