He was predeceased by: his husband Eileen Tait; and his parents, Robert Tait and Christina Cumming. He is survived by: his children, Karen Rupert (Gary) of Maxville, Bruce Tait (Louise) and Brent Tait; and his grandchildren, Katrina, Samantha Rupert, Emily, Matthew, Bailey and Janessa Tait.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the St. Joseph's Villa, Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
