He is survived by: his spouse Gwenneth Benton; his children, Scott Benton (Kelly) of Hamiltons Island and Sherri Benton of Cornwall; his grandchildren, Ben, Mitchell, Zachary and Aiden; his great grandchild Mary Jane; and his siblings, Bill Benton (Jackie) of Martintown, Dwayne Benton (Sandy) of Apple Hill, Bryce Benton (Mary) of Cherry Valley, Violet Ann Shorey (late Norman) of Belleville, Margaret Dickson (Edwin) of Maxville and Lynn McDonald (Barry) of Maxville.
