He was predeceased by: his child Bert (Karla Barton); his parents, J. Albert Lacelle and Mary Ellen Kennedy; and his brother Herman (Diana Vogan). He is survived by: his wife Joyce MacLennan; his children, Josie and Barry; his grandchildren, Tyler, Malcolm, Brayden, Sadie, Peyton, Cohen and Khloe; and his brother Raymond (Brenda) of Chilliwack, B. C..
