She was predeceased by: her sister Irma Bosmans (Joris); her parents, Amandus Geens and Paulina Van Craen; and her stepmother Regina Van Gestel. She is survived by: her husband Peter Janssens; her children, Lucas, Patrick (Melanie Masa), Dany and Christine Ashton (Cameron); her grandchildren, Richard Ashton (Laura Blewett) and Alexandra Ashton; and her sibling Charel Cleynhens (Marie Louise).

Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
