He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurent Lavigne and Jeannette Lavigne; and his siblings, Pauline Coté (Gérald), Robert and Michel (Carole).

He is survived by: his siblings, Rolland (Marianne Bartczak), Claudette Murray (Tom), Jeanninne Lavigne and Claude. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
