He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jean-Paul Garreau (Laurence) of Alexandria, Cécile Garreau of Bainsville, Rémi Garreau of Green Valley, Joe Garreau (Jeanne D'Arc) of Green Valley and Jeanne Garreau of Bainsville; and his parents, Médéric Garreau and Roseanna Garreau.

He is survived by: his spouse Dianne Garreau; his children, André "Rosco" Garreau (Mitch) of Alexandria and Hélène Girard (Robert Blais) of Glen Norman; his grandchildren, Amanda Garreau (Zach Gatehouse) of Edmonton, Patrick Garreau (Cat Cross) of Alexandria, Jessie Girard of Ottawa, Naomi Girard of Alexandria and Courtney Menard of Alexandria; and his great grandchildren, Océane Garreau Gatehouse, Isaak Girard and Ella Girard.
