He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Glennis Carey; his children, Sean (Valerie Lundy) of Ottawa, Alexandra (Steve Smith) of Ottawa and Melanie Royea (Joey Crandall) of Stanbridge; and his grandchildren, Payton, Callan and Caitlin.
