He is survived by: his wife June Simmons; his sons, Michael Simmons, Stephen Simmons and Nicholas Simmons; his stepchildren, Christopher Sherwood, Stephen Sherwood, Nancy Sherwood and Cheryl Sherwood; his niece Carol Templeton; and his sister Betty Giangrande (Elizabeth).
