She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Katherine Anne Osterlund; her son-in-law James Downey (Jim); her grandson Jackson James Downey; her siblings, Marie Redfield and Victor Klaas; her sister-in-law Barbara Klaas; her niece Stephanie Lee; and her nephew Michael Klaas.
