He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Folinsbee Newman and Marjorie Irene McDowell of Pickering; his sisters, Elizabeth, Margaret (Roger), Patricia (Martin), Susan and Josie; his wife Priscilla Joy Hicks; and his children, Harry "Richard" James Newman and Sarah Joy Newman.
