He was predeceased by: his siblings, Vilma, Verna and Vernon; and his parents, Arnott and Mary of Silva.

He is survived by: his wife Annette of Silva; his children, Luana (Kurt), Steve, Marcus (Catherine), Judy (late Richard) and Gary; his grandchildren, Kane, Demi, Cruz, Cindy, Michael, Kristina, Julian, Liane, Dwight, Emily, Daniel and Dwane; his great grandchildren, Keiran and Sofia; and his brothers, Michael, David and George.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T2Z7). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (796 Eyer Dr, Pickering, ON L1W3C2).
