He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Cam (Kathee), Janet (late John), Will (Isabelle) and Margot (late A. J. McFarlane); his grandchildren, Alyssa (Tommy), Mikaila, Matti, Alli and Liam; and his great grandchildren, Fynn and Meadow.
He went on to work across Ontario with the Addictions Research Foundation, and then nationally with the Non-Medical Use of Drugs Directorate, a new section of Health and Welfare Canada that took him to almost every corner of the country.
