He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Helen Embleton; his parents, Roy Embleton and Annie Embleton; and his siblings, Muriel (Eric), Ken (Marjorie) and Jack (Helen).

He is survived by: his sons, David (Darlene) and Robert (Maureen); his grandchildren, Christina, Samantha, Michael and Sarah (Jeremy); and his great grandchild Noah. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
