He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Jane (Julia Cluett) and Sister Hester Jane; his brother Clyde; and his brothers-in-law, Lewis and Roland.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his sons, Greg and Frank (Tami); his grandchildren, Gregory, Justin (Mandy), Mitchell and Mackenzie; his siblings, Rosella, Lucy, Florena (Winston), Agnes (Winston), Wilson (Madonna), Frazer (Florence) and Harvey (Donna); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Reuben's memory.
