It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karl Plooard (Ajax, Ontario), who passed away on May 13, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karl Plooard to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid adieu to Karl's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Karl has bequeathed us. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Sandy; his daughters, Donna (Ken) and Debra; his grandchildren, Aliya, Arianna, Kylie and Ethan; his brothers, Grant (Pauline), Paul (late Linda) and Ross; and his brother-in-law Gary (Brenda). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
