He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Carlie; his siblings, Bill, Peter and Mary; and his parents, Willard Gallagher and Eileen Gallagher of Woodstock.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his children, Joseph (Shelley), Lisa (Haydn) and Heather (Greg); his grandchildren, Robin (Justin), Daniel, James, Jonathan, Rachel, Sarah, Taryn and Gavynn; his great grandchild Ryker; and his brother Edward.
