She was predeceased by: her husband Orval Dunphy; her parents, Peter Forbes and Minerva Forbes; and her siblings, Lois (Harold Babcock) and Robert.

She is survived by: her child Laurel (Phil Stewart); her grandchildren, Ian (Amanda Chan) and Kathryn (Jacob Schlosser); and her sister Shirley (Harvey Shannon). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
