It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Blake (Ajax, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Blake. She is survived by: her children, Janet Hildyard (John) and John Blake; her grandson David Bureau; and her great grandchild Elijah Bureau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the Yonge Street Mission, which was founded by her late grandfather John 'Hallelujah ' Davis, and serves street-involved youth and families in need.
