Hildegard Balasch Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hildegard Balasch (Ajax, Ontario), who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Florian Jakal and Albert Jakal; and her brother Albert. She is survived by: her husband Ernst Balasch; her daughters, Dorothy Vasic (Zoran) and Christine Balasch (Joe); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt), Kyle, Krystyna (Josh), Jacob, Tessa and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Nikola and Elizabeth; and her sisters, Maria, Irene and Helga.

Interment will take place at 2:00 p. m. at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens with reception to follow at the McEachnie Family Centre (20 Church St. N., Ajax adjacent to the Funeral Home) COVID PROTOCOL. If you will be attending, the family respectfully asks that you please wear a mask to help protect those most vulnerable.
