He was predeceased by: his wife Edith; his parents, John Radu and Annie Tanase; his stepfather Ion Tanase; and his sister Marie.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth, Elaine and Connie; his child Billie; his granddaughters, Carly and Katrina; his great grandchildren, Blake and Brianna; and his brother John.
