Frederick Orville Stennett Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce that Fred (Tulu) passed away on December 16 2021, after putting up a brave and long fight against various illnesses. He passed away peacefully, knowing he was well loved. Son of the late Seymour and Gwendolyn Stennett, Fred will be forever missed by his loving wife of 41 years Norma, his children George, Michelle, Clifton (Andrea) and Tricia (Sean). 10 grandkids (Anthony, Justin, Savion, Sekhai, Samantha, Mei-ling, Kingston, Carter, Kennedy, Clarity. 6 great grandkids Arianna, Aiden, Isaiyah, Kayson, Eliyah, Kobi. Fred is predeceased by 8 siblings including his identical twin brother Patrick. They were best friends with a relationship only they could understand, and now they are together again. Fred also leaves behind siblings Barry, Glen, Andrea, Molly, Mabel and May. Born in Kingston, Jamaica Fred came to Canada in 1971 with dreams of making a better life for himself, and that he did. With nothing but hard work and determination he made his way through the construction industry and eventually became his own boss owning and driving his own dump truck. Fred or as his friends knew him Tulu, worked hard and definitely played hard. Dapper and full of swag at all times, Fred loved his music and definitely knew how to light up a dance floor. Whether it was a one foot skank or gliding across the floor with Norma doing a killer 2 step, he knew how to enjoy life. In all of this he was an amazing father, and just as amazing grandfather. Noone cheered louder at soccer games, smiled brighter at dance performances and was prouder to talk about his kids and grandkids accomplishments. Frederick will be greatly missed, and will forever be in our hearts. Thank youThe VISITATION is PUBLIC with REGISTRATION through EVENTBRITE.
