Frank John Millman Obituary
Frank John Millman, born April 1, 1944 in Uxbridge, Ontario, passed away at Ajax-Pickering Hospital on November 14, 2024 after suffering a cardiac arrest on November 12 at his home in Ajax.
Growing up on a farm in Epsom, he was the eldest of six brothers. The skills and knowledge gained from his upbringing enabled him to do many jobs from maintenance supervisor in a latex glove factory, to building and installing floating docks, to working on race car engines. He was a perfectionist and anything he undertook he did to the best of his abilities.
In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, camping and snowmobiling. Later in his life he travelled to Venezuela, Grenada, Jamaica and Mexico, vacationing with his family and friends.
Frank will be deeply missed by Diane, his loving wife of 58 years, daughter Heather (Les), his family and friends.
The family is grateful for the care provided by the wonderful staff at Ajax-Pickering Hospital, and we would especially like to thank Dr. Julia Coppens for her honesty and compassion.
Visitation will be held at noon on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax), followed immediately by a funeral in the Chapel at 1:00pm. A reception will then follow at the McEachnie Family Centre.
The funeral service will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Feed the Need in Durham or a charity of your choice in Frank's memory.
