He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie Storey and Tom Storey; and his daughter Pamela Louise. He is survived by: his son Ernest John; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth; his granddaughter Megan (Eli Gergolas); and his brothers, Adam and Thomas James.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T2Z7).
