He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine (Vivian) and Trinidad; and his siblings, Edris, Carlton'Orlando', Ethel, Lenox'Joe', Lloyd and Vernon.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, Shawn and Samantha (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Taylor, Ronan and Sierra; and his sister Janet. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T1Z7). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church (1001 Ravenscroft Rd, Ajax, ON L1T4X1). A burial was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).
Elton "Mervin" Samuel died on September 9, 2024 following a decline related to a prolonged illness and complications related to Advanced Alzheimer's disease.
