As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Dorothy may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Felix (James). She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Sturgeon; her son-in-law Chris; her grandson James; her siblings, Emily Gilchrist and Bill Chatwell (Sue); and her nephews, Brandon Chatwell (Joy) and David Chatwell. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T2Z7). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McEachnie Family Centre (20 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T2W5).
