David George Axhorn Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2025, at the age of 87, David George Axhorn (Ajax, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Christine Axhorn; his parents, Albert Axhorn and Beatrice Axhorn; his brother Albert Axhorn (Colleen); and his parents-in-law, Fred and Beatrice Hawley.

He is survived by: his significant other Margaret Axhorn; his daughter Sherry Izzett; his son-in-law Dan Izzett; his son Shawn Axhorn; his daughter-in-law Bree Axhorn; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Jordan), Tiana (Jacob), Ethan, Alaina and Marissa; his great grandchild Mason; his grandchildren, Elias and Violet; his brothers, Peter Axhorn (Pat) and Andrew Axhorn (Nora); his siblings-in-law, John Hawley and Doris Mills; and his friends, Bobby and Joanne Doucette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and his cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McEachnie Family Centre (20 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T2W5).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oakridges Hospice, Port Perry, Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.
