He was predeceased by: his sister Jean Watson. He is survived by: his wife Sonia Thompson (Nee Renshaw); his children, Amy English (Patrick) and Adam Thompson (Leanne); his grandchildren, Jordyn, Colin, Benjamin Thompson and Lilah English; his siblings, Don Thompson (Marj), Terry Thompson (Sherrie), Judy Westgate (Leonard), Roy Thompson (Beverly), Mary Thompson, Susan Thompson, Barbara Carter (Lew) and Anne Thompson-Wambua (Paul); his siblings-in-law, Ken Watson, Michael Renshaw (Tomasa), Janet Stewart (Bob), Jennifer Stephens (Richard) and Sheila Fisher (Dennis); and his mother-in-law May Renshaw. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and his many friends.
