She was predeceased by: her husband Hugo; her parents, Arthur Maes and Maria Maes (Maenhout); and her siblings, Frans (Andrea Dendauw-Maes), Willy (Godelieve Pecceu-Maes), Gerard Pecceu, Winok Pecceu, Achiel Maes (Hugos), Ulrich (Cecile Vandaele), Maria Vandenbussche and Marie Therese Vandaele.
She is survived by: her siblings, Paula Pecceu-Maes, Maria Pecceu-Maes, Jenny Maes-Martain, Joe Vandaele and Georges Vandenbussche. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 there will be no public visitation.
In memory of Rachel donations to Alzheimer Society of Canada or St. Patrick's Church, Lucan would be appreciated.
