She was predeceased by: her husband John Pimperton. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Ryan (Joe), Pam Hartleib, David Mitchell (Donna), Chris Mitchell (Sue), Charlie Pimperton (Heather) and Patti Pimperton; her stepchildren, John Pimperton, Nancy Wildes and Dorothy Pimperton; her brother Bruce Nutt (Beth); and her friends, Pat, John Dicks, Gurmeet and Meena Chail. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

“The Layng family and John are saddened to learn of Jean's passing. I will always remember Jean's kindness and concern for others. If anyone needed anything she would be the first to help them out. She was always kind to me, visiting me when I was new mom especially and bringing me things I needed for the baby. She was a lifelong wonderful friend to Donna. We are blessed to have known Jean. Our thoughts are with all your family at this sad time.”
