It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Elizabeth Carruthers (Ailsa Craig, Ontario), who passed away on August 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Andrew Carruthers; her granddaughter Marissa (Steve); and her siblings, Orville Griffith (Helen) and Donna Shipway. She is survived by: her children, Ken Carruthers (Charlene), Den Carruthers (Shelly), Karen Wilson (Pete) and Kevin Carruthers (Rebekah); her grandchildren, Tara (Andrew), Chad (Mackenna), Andrew (Miranda), Wade, Brianne, Chelsey (Galen), Ryan (Emma), Amber (Tyler), Madisyn, Alyson and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Decklan, Rylyn, Marshall, Lawson, Lily, Lennon and Hayden; her sister June Wilton (Jack); and her brother-in-law Bob Shipway. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
