She was predeceased by: her husband John Robert Thomson; her son Bob Thomson (late Nancy); her siblings, Cameron Dorman and Doris Dorman; and her parents, Willis Dorman and Clara Dorman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Payne (Dave) and Donna Van Massenhoven (John); her grandchildren, Jennifer Thomson (Jim Mackichan), Joanne Preece (Marty), Michael Thomson, Christopher Payne, Courtney Payne, John Jr. Van Massenhoven (Sherri), Shawn Van Massenhoven (Melissa Howe) and Michelle Geiger; her great grandchildren, Cassandra Dayman, Tyler Preece, Megan Preece, Cayden Thomson, Lucas Van Massenhoven, Logan Van Massenhoven, Olivia Van Massenhoven and Kailyn Herrington; and her sibling Claire Dorman. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
