She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Cox; her sisters, Kay Stone (John) and Carol Walker (George); and her sisters-in-law, Betty Sutherland (Roy) and Joyce Lovell (Ted).

She is survived by: her children, Terri Van Massenhoven (Casey) and Russell Cox (Judy); her grandchildren, Kate (Tim), Jen (Rob), Kevin (Chelsea) and Sara (Greg); her great grandchildren, Braiden, Ava, Annabelle, Charlotte and Tyson; her brothers, Rick, Ron and Roger Smith; and her friends, Gloria Bannister and Bill Mathers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
