She is survived by: her husband Harry Hofstede; her children, Edward, Terrance and Sharon; her grandchildren, Bradley, Brianne, Zackery, Samantha, Eric and Madison; and her great grandchildren, Jackson and Marti Paige.

A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church (365 Queen St, Acton, ON L7J2N2). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (20 Cobblehill Rd, Acton, ON L7J2S9).

Trudy never complained, even in the face of pain or the cruel progression of Alzheimer's.
