She was predeceased by: her boyfriend Bruce McKie; her husband Douglas Lawr; her siblings, Mildred (Carney), Rhona (Davison) and Sadie (Poole); and her parents, Bessie and Ronald.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julia Lawr (Wayne Avery) of Barrie and Lisa Lawr (Steve Houseman) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Aynsley Douglas and Catherine Emma (Ottawa); and her brothers, Sam Leitch (Marg) and Harvey Leitch of Erin.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the Cancer Research Society, West Park Church (London), or Fourth Avenue Baptist Church (Ottawa) ("Haven Too Youth Shelter").
