He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Catherine; his brothers, Paul and Joe; and his nephew Daniel.

He is survived by: his siblings, Michael (Debbie), Pat (Julie), David, Anne-Marie (Joe) and Maureen (Steve); his sister-in-law Marie; and his children, Meghann (Ryan), Spencer and Garrett (Lindsey). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (11582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON L7G4Y5). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund set up in Violet's name.
