With solemn reverence, we commemorate Tony Whitford of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, whose life came to an end on September 16, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine; his daughter-in-law Donna; his mother Emelia Gratrix; and his siblings, Dewey, Margaret, Norman and Richard.

He is survived by: his sons, Warren (Bev), Blair (Nola) and Ian (Donna); his grandchildren, David, Ausia, Alexandra and Michael; and his brother Marc (Linda). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

“I enjoyed listening to him when he was on the radio doing a plug for charity or transcribing his voice in the Legislative Assembly. He would stop on the street and acknowledge me by smiling and saying good day. Your wonderful wife Elaine can rest now that you've joined her... I'm sure you two will be laughing and sharing stories forever. Amen.”
