She was predeceased by: her daughter Nicole; her parents, John and Annie; and her siblings, Carter, Marshall, Georgina and Michael.

She is survived by: her close friend Jan; her children, Gordon (Christiana Friesen), Michele (Dwight Grabke) and Matthew (Morgan Reid); her grandchildren, Chloe, Adriana, Ben, Nixon and Nanuk; and her siblings, Clara (Derek), Barb (Gord), Shirley (Carey), Johnny, Bernie and Liz (Paul).

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a small private service will be held at McKenna Funeral Home on June 9th, with internment at Lakeview Cemetery in Yellowknife at 2:00pm where she will be laid to rest near her daughter Nicole.
