Jay Larocque Obituary
With the heaviest of hearts, on August 15th 2018, we had to say goodbye to Jay Larocque of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
Born in Yellowknife, NT, January 29, 1954, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2018 in Edmonton, AB. Jay courageously battled cancer with dignity and grace in which his passing came suddenly for us all.
Jay is survived by his partner Gibby, Daughter’s; Janice, Michelle and Nancy, Step-children; Kevin, Crystal, Tiffany, Allan, Russel and Brendan, Grandchildren; Isabelle, Delila, Jaylin, Cheyenne, Cicely, Dani, Cambreia, Lexie, Kaine and Cody, Great-Grandchild; Bentley, Siblings; Martha, Ruthie, Jean (Lloy), Larry, James, Gordie and Willy and many cousins and extended family.
Jay is predeceased by his mother Harriet Mercredi (nee McSwain), father Stan Larocque and brother Allan Larocque.
The family of Jay would like to thank everyone who sent floral arrangements, food, and donations, provided kind words, sent cards or were there to help with anything that was needed. Mahsi Cho.
The sudden loss of our Jay was made easier with the love, support and kindness that were received from our family and friends. Your expressions of sympathy were felt with our hearts and we are forever grateful.
