She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Kelly, Sydney, Kimberly and Tyron; her grandchildren, Naiomi, Erika, Michelle, Tanisha, Shilah and Damin; and her great grandchildren, Zeike, Ayla, Xander, Kenneth, Kingsley and Kolton.

Coleen's professional journey included pivotal roles as a Food Bank Coordinator and Bookkeeper, with notable contributions to the RCMP in Fort Good Hope and the Youth Correctional Centre in Iqaluit, later serving in YCC administration.
