She was predeceased by: her sons, Adam and Roland Surette; her parents, Freeman Clairmont and Cecilia Clairmont (Comeau); her brother Charles; and her former husband Lindsay Surette.
She is survived by: her children, Lindsaye (Margie), Glenn, Terence (Carol), Stephanie (Gregory), Jennifer (Eric) and Jonathan (Nicole); and her siblings, Michael, Susan, Andrea (Greg) and Ellen (Kevin). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grand children.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Chapel, Yarmouth Tuesday (29 Albert St, Yarmouth, NS B5A3N1). A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Huskilson's Funeral Chapel (29 Albert St, Yarmouth, NS B5A 3N1). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (725 Melbourne Rd, Arcadia, NS B0W1B0).
