The passing of William Scott of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Lockeport, Nova Scotia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 23, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Scott (Honey) and Cassandra Scott (MacKay); his wife Reta "Jean" Scott (Winship); and his sisters, Idella Stone and Lorraine Ringer.

He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Scott, Kimberley Ryan (Mike) and Dayton; his grandson Kirk Smith (Angelique); and his daughters, Megan Durkee (Kevin Schwarzer), Kristin Robicheau (Charles), Chelsea Ryan and Christian Ryan (Riley). He is also survived by brother, Tom Scott, Ontario; several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hillside Cemetery Fund or the Yarmouth Food Bank.
