He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burns and Susan Burns (Mahoney); and his wife Rose Marie Burns (Haley). He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Lynn Burns, Tina Louise Burns, Patricia Ann Burns (Kerry Wynot) and Holly Celina Wilson (Scott); his grandchildren, Tessa Myra (Colin Oickle), Jessica Myra (Mehmet Ozbek), Dawn Conrad and Sasha Conrad; his great grandchildren, Logan, Morgan, Sophia, Jacob, Jayda and Mylo; and his brother Bill Cross.

Donations in memory of Warren may be made to the Nova Scotia Alzheimer's Society or to the Yarmouth SPCA.
