With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Theresa Ann James of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Theresa left this world on January 28, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Deveau and Madeline Deveau; her husband Gordon James; and her siblings, James, Luke, Doris, Joan and Edna.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Flowers (Brian), Brian James (Aletha) of Hunts Point, NS and Alan James (Sjanna) of Gavelton, NS; her sisters, Rosalie Crosby, Mae MacDonald (Allister), Grace Comeau and Zita Hubbard; her grandchildren, Ashley Martino (Dan), Justin James (Nicole), Courtney Ferrigan (Tray), Jenna Deveau (Derick), Mitchell Flowers (Erica), Meredith James, Sarah Deveau (Noah), Anita James, Caleb James and Lydia James; her stepgrandchildren, Carter Scott (Amber) and Kaitlin Wolfe (Kevin); and her great grandchildren, Tristan, Aria, Isabella, Jack, Wyatt of Sylvie, KJ and Klara. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
