She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pippy and Hilda Pippy (Morton); her husband Douglas R Sherman of Noah's Ark Restaurant; and her siblings, Phyllis Hersey, Barbara Smith, Ellen Power and Jerry Pippy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Feetham (Richard), Janet Trefry (David) and Beverly Grant (Earl); her sister Charla Sollows (Reginald); her grandchildren, Greg Trefry (Kora), Jenny Lips (Dan), Cynthia Grant (Felix King) and Jessica Hiltz (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Hanna Trefry, Max Trefry, Jakob Vanderhill, Camila King and Alia Hiltz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Beacon United Church, or a charity of choice.
